Like French Extreme Horrror ? your in for a treat with In Their Sleep is a 2010 French Horror movie that went under the radar, probably due to the attention that Martyrs was receiving the same year. In Their Sleep is a very brutal movie, if Inside/Martyrs is your bag your in for a thrill. In their Sleep is a movie that suprised me when first watching, I'd heard very little of the movie, this is a faced paced Horror with a fair few twists along the way. My advice for In Their Sleep do not read any review, do not watch a trailer and just strap yourself in for a bloody ride. Watch out for the ending in this one as well, very good.

5150 Elms Way
5150 Elms Way is a 2010 French Canadian Horror film staring Marc-André Grondin probably most well know to people as the star of Canadian movie C.R.A.Z.Y. The movie is based on a novel of the same name. 5150 Elms Way is a pyschlogical Horror movie if your a fan of Hitchcock your going to like this film, this is not a slow burner, the action really gets going in the first 10 minutes. The movie is available in most countries on DVD with english subtitles. 5150 Elms Way is a 9/10 movie in my opinion, a must watch, loved this one.

The Serpent / Le Serpent
The Serpent is 2006 French Thriller/Horror, and the name of game here is Revenge staring the rather awesome Clovis Cornillac previously seen in such movies as Eden Log and Poltergay. The Serpent is based on novel Ted 'Get Carter' Lewis, the movie could best be described as a French Single White female meets Fatal Attraction. The Serpent is more steeped more in the thriller genre than horror, but I've included it as it really is a must see due to its evil nature. Le Serpent is no slow burner, this is a movie that will literally keep your eyes glued to the screen, the french certainly do not like a pedestrian passed thriller/horror. Very surprised to see Hollywood not remake this movie, as The Next Three Days was based on the French thriller Anything for her, The Serpent is perfect material for a remake, maybe they knew a English language remake would fail in finding a actor as good as Cornillac to replicate his role in the movie.

7 Days
A 2010 French/Canadian Horror movie, again we're heading into the land of Revenge again with 7 days, probably best described as the Torture porn version of The Lovely Bones. 7 Days again like its French/Canadian friend 5150 Elms Way again seems to have gone under the radar in terms of spreading over into mainstream horror fans sights such as Inside and Martyrs. 7 Days certainly is a not a fairytale film, its brutal, nasty and definitely not for the fainted hearted. If you like the subject of Revenge in your movies then 7 days really is probably one of the best Revenge movies out there.
